Wildflower Stroll

South Shore Joint Initiative

Nature, Health wellness, Free, Family friendly

💚 Join us on May 4th, 2024 at 9 am to explore Point Petre woods!
🌿 Meet at County Rd 24 and Army Reserve Rd.
Point Petre woods is a wonderful showcase of ephemeral wildflowers in the spring. Of note is the Carolinian species Twin Leaf. Hepatica, Dutchman's' Breeches and Meadowrue are only some of the other beautiful blooming species to see and photograph. Since this is an early spring Stroll, unfortunately, there will probably also be trash to harvest. Garbage bags will be provided. Bring garden gloves and wear sturdy waterproof footwear.
Don't forget gloves and waterproof footwear!
📸 Let's make memories in this natural wonderland!
