Waupoos Acres Farm
While our childhoods were spent in farming communities in rural Quebec, our working lives have taken us to many other places. We have now made our home in one of the most picturesque parts of Ontario – Prince Edward County. We value the opportunity to contribute to the vibrancy and well-being of this community.
We grow a wide range of vegetables and fruit, including swiss chard, several varieties of zucchini, romaine lettuce, red romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, red onions, white onions, corn, strawberries, cucumbers, ground cherries, snow peas, beans, tomatoes and more.
We pride ourselves on growing varieties that are not typically found in grocery stores.
Inspired by author Jean-Martin Fortier (The Market Gardener), we began Waupoos Acres Farm in 2017. Our priority is organically grown produce without reliance on pesticides or heavy machinery. Our goal is to become a certified organic farm in the coming years.
